About Klean Sweep

Here at Klean Sweep Chimney Services, we have been a family of Brick Masons for more than 100 years starting with my grandfather who served as an indentured apprentice to a master Brick Mason in England. Our grandfather then emigrated to Canada and plied his trade in Toronto. Myself, Frank then worked with him for 10 years until he retired. In 1972 we saw the need for chimney sweeping and with our experience in chimney and fireplace building started a chimney sweeping service and joined the Ontario Chimney Sweeps association founded by Norman Lenz ( a European Sweep) and shortly after we were grandfathered into W.E.T.T (Wood Energy Technical Training) for further education. I also have 2 sons and 1 grandson who have become brick masons in other jurisdictions here in Ontario. We are all happy to serve the public with safe wood-burning equipment maintenance, W.E.T.T.inspections, repairs, and overall chimney safety in Peterborough, Lindsay, Oshawa, Port Perry, and the GTA.
